Brash can carry out the Cyber Essentials questionnaire on your behalf, using our knowledge of your IT systems to complete each entry. The results of completing the survey may result in extra controls or processes being adopted that we will then advise on and discuss separately. Once these are completed, the questionnaire is submitted for approval. On acceptance, your organisation will be Cyber Essentials accredited.
There are a number of sections in the requirements and some controls can be met by creating documentation that is shared across staff members, or IT controls that can be deployed to meet the standards.
Extra work such as the creation of documentation, policies or software deployment is all included in the price of Cyber Essentials (with extra help). However, license fees for additional software are excluded.
Other benefits include:
- Reassure customers that you are working to secure your IT against cyber attack
- Attract new business with the promise you have cyber security measures in place
- Provides you with a clear picture of your organisation’s cyber security level
- For some Government contracts, Cyber Essentials certification is an essential requirement
When a UK-domiciled organisation with a turnover of under £20m achieves self-assessed certification covering their whole organisation, they are entitled to Cyber Liability Insurance (terms apply).
